About Mohomad Al-Sawah, DPM

Mohomad Al-Sawah, DPM hails from New York, where he attended the City University of New York at Brooklyn College, followed by the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. The newest member of the team at Associated Podiatrists, P.C. in Novi, Michigan, Dr. Al-Sawah focuses on providing comprehensive, innovative care to the patients he serves. 

Dr. Al-Sawah did his residency in podiatric medicine and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery at Providence Park Hospital in Southfield, Michigan, where he was the chief podiatric resident. He has also completed several post-graduate foot and ankle specialty courses on arthroscopy, trauma, osteosynthesis (bone fracture repair), and surgical reconstruction of the diabetic foot and ankle including limb salvage.  

He is trained in both foot surgery and reconstructive rear foot and ankle surgery. He treats patients of all age groups with various foot and ankle conditions, including sports related injuries, fractures and dislocations, flat or high arch feet, arthritis of the foot and ankle, bunions, hammertoes, neuromas, skin related conditions such as warts, diabetic feet including wound care and Charcot deformities. He has special interest in adult foot and ankle reconstruction and will always exhaust all forms of non-operative treatment before recommending surgery when appropriate.
