Podiatry is an amazing career choice because it enables you to help people, challenges you to keep up with new science and surgical techniques, and spurs continued growth as the profession itself evolves and grows.
Wednesday September 22 is National Fall Prevention Awareness Day!
We encourage all our patients to stay aware of the prevention techniques to avoid falling. Falls can cause bruising, fractures, closed head injuries, and have the potential to be fatal.
Facts About Falls:
It’s important to check in on our elderly friends and family because most of the time when people fall, they are likely to not be able to get to the phone to call for help. We evaluate our patients to prevent fall risks and can make certain recommendations to improve stability and identify risk factors to limit and prevent falls.
If you or someone you know needs help with a fall prevention program, give our office a call at (248)348-5300 to schedule an appointment with one of our providers.
