Today is Fall Prevention Awareness Day!

Among aging adults, falls are the leading cause of injury related emergency visits, the major cause of hip fractures, and responsible for more than half of fatal head injuries. Educating yourself about the risks is the first step in preventing falls, and this September, we dedicate the entire month to Fall Prevention.
