Today is Fall Prevention Awareness Day!

Among aging adults, falls are the leading cause of injury related emergency visits, the major cause of hip fractures, and responsible for more than half of fatal head injuries. Educating yourself about the risks is the first step in preventing falls, and this September, we dedicate the entire month to Fall Prevention.

Here are some of Associated Podiatrists, P.C.’s suggestions for fall-prevention:

To schedule an appointment, please contact our office today at (248)348-5300 or schedule an online using our patient portal appointment scheduler.
